Cool site for the Israel Pack project
Kickstarted a soulful site for a project that sells subscriptions to products from Israel in the USA.
THE WORLD IS FILLED WITH UNUSUAL IDEAS
Every day concerned people create new businesses and change the world. We are happy that our agency often crosses path with projects that really help all of us become a bit better.

This is a story about how we made the site for the Israel Pack project.
SUBSCRIPTION TO PRODUCTS FROM ISRAEL

The idea is simple and brilliant: for $ 100 per month American subscribers receive a box of goods from Israeli farmers and manufacturers. Tea, honey, soap, oils, sweets, jewelry, creams, cosmetics and whatnot.

The contents of the box changes every month.

The scheme in which everyone is happy:

  • American subscribers get a new piece of Israel every month.
  • Israeli entrepreneurs can support and develop their businesses.
  • The Israel Pack gets its share for organizing such a good deed

Here are examples of boxes from past deliveries:

A GOOD SITE BEGINS WITH A GOOD PROTOTYPE
The team had a website that needed refinement. I wanted to make him with a little more depth. This is what we’ve begun.

The market research, product hypotheses and audience portraits were ready before us, so we went through the research part quickly.

We started building a prototype of the main page in Figma. We collected it in close connection with the project team. Made — showed — redo — showed — finished — agreed.

We wrote in English right away. First we wrote a draft, and then sent it through a competent copywriter.

Here are the options for intermediate prototypes:

Together with the Israel Pack team we decided to make the main page as short as possible, and place additional information on subpages.

Here is the final layout of the main page:
ABOUT THE PRODUCT DETAILS

After the main page, we have built second-level pages.

  • The Box goes into detail about the contents of the box.
  • Our Impact helps you dive deeper into the mission of the project and tells the stories of manufacturers.
  • The FAQ, as it should, answers users' questions.
  • Contacts tells us about the team and gives you the opportunity to leave feedback.

DESIGN FOR WOMEN 50+
A conservative and family design was needed. Without newfangled features, but not an outdated site from the 2000s.

The first step was wrong — we tried to refresh the existing site design. Nobody liked the result: neither we nor the Israel Pack team:
Then we decided to completely reboot and create a design from scratch. And we guessed it — it turned out family, soulful and in a classic style:
A few details:
CODING
The site should’ve coded on WordPress. We can’t do that, so we turned to the friendly agency Oskin.dev. The guys coded quickly and accurately according to the layout.

Sometimes we cannot do something ourselves, but we always know those who are ready to help. We are always interested in the final result, so even if we don’t do something ourselves, we always follow up to the final result.
WHAT WAS NEXT
The site is ready. Traffic is purchased for it.

American subscribers get monthly boxes, Israeli entrepreneurs develop their businesses, and there is one more awesome site in the world.

That was our first serious site that we created for an American audience. It was definitely difficult. But that’s what’s so great about difficult tasks, after their successful completion you get an energy and motivation boost. I’m glad we were able to work with the Israel Pack!
